A global industrial group operating in the capital goods sector It uses its brands to design, manufacture and market agricultural and construction machinery, industrial and commercial vehicles, buses and special vehicles, as well as their engines and transmissions, and marine propellers.
Client Challenges
The Group had planned the construction of three production sites, each with its own configuration and located in different areas of China In this context, the Client needed strict control and coordination over the preparation of the ICT infrastructure.
Solve.it Solutions
The Solve.it team took on the roles of Project and Program Manager for the release of the necessary technological infrastructure for each of the new sites:
- Preparation of the entire ICT infrastructure for the management of a large, new, 400,000 square-meter plant built on a “green field” site in North East China (consisting of production plants, a spare parts warehouse, a paint shop, an R&D center, a training center and a commercial building):
- Feasibility study
- Sourcing
- Set-up
- Production release of the necessary ICT infrastructure
- Release of the ICT infrastructure necessary for both the Client’s Headquarters and Executive Office
- Management of the governance for the release of the ICT infrastructure of two smaller plants, complete with the assembly areas, parts warehouse, training center and commercial building
