A new Banking Core
We were responsible for developing the banking core on which Woop Sicredi is based, a digital platform launched by Sicredi, a cooperative financial institution present in 22 Brazilian states and the Federal District, which serves 3.7 million members. The solution used was Topaz , capable of carrying out all stages of banking management, allowing customers to transform their core banking processes more easily, quickly and safely.
A little over a year ago, Sicredi began its digital transformation process which, in addition to Woop Sicredi, includes the progressive replacement of its banking core, the system that processes products and services. With the launch of the offer, the institution hopes to meet the demand of members for convenience and agility, in addition to connecting more people through cooperativism.
According to Marcelo Barradas, Stefanini’s executive director in the South region, the project was born entirely digital, which is characterized as a great differential. “In addition, Sicredi’s digital transformation process takes place in an integrated and fast way”, highlights the executive.

“The brand chosen for the platform reflects the proposal to offer an uncomplicated solution, which allows members to manage their financial life digitally. The name comes from an interjection formed by the combination of “wow” and “coop”, creating a modern expression, which intends to be the sound of cooperativism in digital environments”, says Tiago Nicolaidis, leader of Digital Transformation at Sicredi.
Comprehensive and robust, the Topaz by Stefanini solution allows institutions to strengthen their relationship with their customers, increasing productivity and improving financial management.
