Industry 4.0
The Smart Factory is changing how businesses operate worldwide, with new technology and insights. In response to Industry 4.0, Stefanini is presenting how it is able to transform enterprises through integration, digital expertise, and its big-picture vision. This includes a Smart Factory prototype, in which sensors push data to Stefanini’s IoT platform. This is also integrated with Sophie, our AI chatbot.
Cognitive Experience
Stefanini’s Innovation Center showcases the flexibility of our cognitive assistant Sophie and presents several ways in which she can be utilized. For instance, a food processing company can use Sophie acting as a “cognitive chef.” You can ask Sophie for nutritional information and recipe recommendations using brand specific products through many channels, including Facebook Messenger. Sophie can also act as an insurance agent assistant, interacting with customers to open a claim while simultaneously sending help to a location.
Automated Warehouse
Our autonomous drone solutions help clients automate the warehouse inventory management process. It can scan and read barcodes to monitor inventory as well as measure raw material volumes in a warehouse. The autonomous drone improves safety and increases efficiency.
Connected Building Experience
After improving the energy consumption for several clients, we implemented the Connected Building for our own offices. Sensors connect to an IoT platform, monitoring the assets on floors in Southfield and Manila. This data allows businesses to take proactive measures to manage assets and increase energy efficiency.
Augmented Reality
The new, dynamic business environment requires new operational models that can meet increased customer expectations around reliability and availability. Using Microsoft HoloLens, an AR headset, it is easier to identify troubled zones in data centers and display real-time data by within the glasses, offering a hands-free process and personalized experience. Offering new levels of convenience, the headset can, for example, enable a customer to view a car in the color and model they desire, regardless of whether the vehicle is currently available in the dealership.
Virtual Reality
With virtual reality, we create a digital twin of the factory with all the sensor data duplicated to offer a real-time view of production. The simulation allows you to train and practice solving plant failures without crippling real operations. This is a safer and more cost-efficient solution. Through the prototypes, we are making digital solutions tangible for our clients where they can be hands-on, experiment, and see the true benefits of the digital journey.
