With offices located throughout the world, the communities where we operate our business have a profound impact on the future of Stefanini and our clients. We are committed to supporting and strengthening those communities both locally and globally.
The Stefanini Institute, a non-profit founded by Marco Stefanini, provides technology education and training opportunities to youth and adults in Brazil. We believe that knowledge is the key to a more developed and engaged society. Our goal is to be a leader in serving the population most in need of economic and educational opportunities, by bringing “digital and technological literacy” as a means of integrating this population into the labor market. Stefanini is a member of the Ethos Institute, a non-governmental organization in Brazil, created with the mission of helping companies manage their businesses in a socially responsible manner, making them partners in the construction of a fair sustainable society.
Throughout our locations, Stefanini employees volunteer their time and talent to help their communities. Stefanini supports their efforts to make a difference. Below are just a few of the ways our employees are making an impact in their local communities:
- Toys for Tots – donating unwrapped toys for needy children
- American Red Cross and Mississippi Valley Blood Center – participating in blood drives held at several of our locations
- Susan G. Komen Foundation – participating in the Quad Cities Race for the Cure annually
- Meals on Wheels – delivering meals to the homes of elderly and disabled citizens weekly
Stefanini’s relationship with Focus Hope includes spending time with students explaining positions, expectations, and encouraging the students to continue their training. We continue to hire Focus Hope Students.
Stefanini sponsors a wide variety of charity and non-profit events globally, including United Way, Gilda’s Club, Habitat for Humanity, Make a Wish and City of Hope.
Stefanini is strongly committed to environmental responsibility and green initiatives for our employees and operations. As a global organization, we are committed to green initiatives and have established processes and procedures that lessen our impact on the environment and promote green initiatives within our company and on behalf of our employees. Our internal processes and procedures keep us in compliance with applicable local environmental mandates and laws.
Stefanini is proud to have many energy conservation initiatives in place throughout our organization. We continuously seek additional ways to conserve on an informal basis through employee suggestions and best practices. Our Environmental Policy applies to all employees regardless of their position or seniority, or the office/site they work from.
