Stefanini is set to promote the importance of cybersecurity best practice at the UK’s premier enterprise security and risk management event, ECS, which takes place on Tuesday 27 September at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel in London.
Stefanini’s participation will include Alexandru Bertea, Chief Cybersecurity Strategist, Stefanini EMEA, delivering a presentation on the importance of threat intelligence in preventing cybercrime. This will explore the different types of attacks that businesses face, share the typical signs of a potential attack and outline the steps businesses can take to prevent these.
Stefanini will also promote the importance of threat intelligence via its own booth (no. 18) at the event, which brings together hundreds of attendees to connect with leading experts and discuss how to advance enterprise security and how we manage risk.
Other key themes at this year’s ECS include cybersecurity in an unsettled world, the importance of building trust within teams, the alignment of emerging technology with current tools, the role of diversity in tackling cyber-attacks and the role of AI.
“In a disrupted business environment, the number of cyberattacks businesses face and the damage they can cause has increased significantly. We’re looking forward to participating in ECS and sharing crucial insights into the very latest techniques for businesses to protect themselves from this increased risk through the power of threat intelligence and cutting-edge proactive measures,” says Alexandru Bertea, Chief Cybersecurity Strategist, Stefanini EMEA.
Stefanini’s participation at ECS follows the launch of its joint venture with Cyber Smart Defence, one of the most dynamic cybersecurity companies in Romania, as well as the launch of its new Security Operations Center in Bucharest, which provides a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services to clients across EMEA.
These launches built on an extensive global cybersecurity offering, which was established in 2016 through a joint venture with the Israeli cybersecurity company Rafael Advance Defense Systems.
