From Cognitive Computing to Caipirinhas

October 30, 2018 by Stefanini

This November, Stefanini will exhibit at the 2018 Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Barcelona, with a new approach that showcases the diverse range of the company’s portfolio, demonstrates its transformative approach to digital innovation and encourages attendees to enjoy its Brazilian heritage.

Visit the booth

The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo is Europe's leading conference for CIOs and senior IT executives. On offer will be over 400 training sessions, workshops and roundtables, designed to enable leaders to explore the trends shaping the future of IT and business, while equipping them to embrace those new technologies. Stefanini will be supporting this wider programme by running a booth that clearly showcases the company’s diverse digital offering, which includes tailored solutions in workplace and infrastructure, application and advisory services, cognitive computing and IoT. There will be a focus on practical demonstrations of new technology, both live and through video, so attendees can experience Stefanini’s innovation in both AR and AI – most notably the latest version of their cognitive computing solution, Sophie, the world’s premier corporate artificial intelligence agent. There will also be a range of experts available to talk with CIOs about how to implement this technology in their businesses, detailing Stefanini’s customer-centric, flexible approach to partnering and co-creating solutions with their customers.

Attend the Stefanini session

Businesses will be able to hear firsthand the process and benefits of a partnership with Stefanini through a session with François Cisier, the Head of IT service management at Sulzer Group IT. Titled ‘The Anatomy of a Good Partnership’, his talk will describe how Sulzer, a leading engineering and manufacturing company, embarked on an ambitious IT transformation journey to respond to new business demand. In partnership with Stefanini, Sulzer implemented ITIL-based service-centric global processes, a modern IT service management solution and an outsourced integrated service desk, to see incredible growth and success as a result. The talk will take place at 3pm on Tuesday 6th November.

Enjoy the social opportunities

A key element of the Symposium is the chance for attendees to network with peers and experts, and Stefanini will this year be hosting three events designed to make that as enjoyable and beneficial as possible. To celebrate the company’s Brazilian origins, their Monday night social evening will feature a Caipirihna Bar, offering three different versions of the traditional cocktail*. The Tuesday event will involve a Capoeira show – an energetic and captivating martial art developed in Brazil at the beginning of the 16th century that also combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music. The Wednesday night social will allow attendees to watch and taste as brigadeiro is made – a chocolate-based Brazilian dessert created in the 1940s.

Throughout every element of the Symposium Stefanini will be proudly showcasing the diverse range of experience, solutions and experts they have to offer forward-thinking businesses, demonstrating their creativity and innovation in every area of their involvement across the event.
